++ sick of wk jungle every game! also nice buffs to my boy clinkz finally out of the dumpster!
I play on WK a lot and I like the changes to Mortal strike. It was impossible to get 7 skeletons on lvl 7 by only last hitting. (you had to auto attack) Now you can easily get stacks and it works well with radiance also.
Last games I was abusing skeletons with either drums or aquilla. They are broken AF early game. And IceFrog reduced mana cost on early lvls which is gonna replace one hit stuff.
A lot of ppl just go afk jungle on WK. Fuck them. Kinda like that mortal strike now can't one shot creeps(because of junglers) but I think it would be nice if you could get that ability with lvl 4 mortal strike.

icefrog doesnt really care that the hero is teabagging pubs, dota balance have been increasingly centered around competitive play only, and dota itself puts a much bigger emphasis on competitive than in say 2014(mainly through battlepasses)
so i wouldnt blame him for buffing the least picked hero in competitive
instead i would blame him for taking the easy way out by buffing the hero instead of trying to rebalance or even rework him because clearly the hero has a flawed design if its one of the strongest in high lvl pubs but doesn't even exist in comp which is unique(or mb i have a short memory but no other hero had this disparity in popularity between 5k+ pubs and competitive lately)

i know he doesnt balance the game around pubs, he never did actually (or so he says)
the hero is not bad, thats not why hes not picked in pro games, and this buff will not change that

Imo he's really good if you know how to play him. Silence + Nulifier combo is pretty damn strong. Sure thing he can be countered but he also counters many pub heroes.
Quite a lot of boosters also play him.
If anything, the hero that needed to be nerfed was PL and he got slightly nerfed. Let's see how it works out
The reason why clinkz not picked on pros scene from my prespective is he actually really ez to counter... say he met blade mail and done he cant do shit unless game take really long time till he got nullfire. U know when he got orchid u could buy eul to get away with it tho
You can't get free kills in pro games as Clinkz, they will always move together.
They always opt for a pos 1/2 that can farm and scale, instead of one that runs around alone for kills on the map.

if a hero is not fitting in any lineup for ages then by all means that means the hero is bad
id agrue that free rosh/torn-nullifier would be enough utility for a hero that does so much damage
^ he has unlimited dodge to projectile based stuns while strafe is active. Int increase and hp regen.
Hate how strafe is like the only mechanic in the game that differentiates projectiles from non-projectiles.
PFF WK is buffed not nerfed maybe jungle is nerfed a little but now finally i can use my third properly in late game it was impossible to get those skeletons without another source of crit anyway
Problem with Clinkz is that its one of three favourite boosters' heros:
- huskar
- clinkz
- broodmother
And all of them got buffed a bit.
I think that WK got a huge buff and he will not be played anymore by idiots afk junglers :)
