Honestly, I find that medals don't mean much. Maybe it's just my lowbie tier, but I find myself asking how much they paid for their account more often than not.
Dont mind their medals man it doesnt mean much, their solo mmr will be so low, when they solo queue, you are not gonna have to face them.
Also, i personally find crusader players more sensible and better players than archon.
but yeah, when u see these guys reaching such medals, you lose the worth of your medal for which your grind your ass off.
Dont worry once they recalibrate with solo queue it will all be back to normal xD
I really dont understand your point, they will drop MMR and you will be special snowflake again after Valve pumps their TI prize pool by giving people free medals.
For example if you got divine medal but you know you are not skilled enough to keep it would you really be happy about it? Knowing that you cant play ever again because you gonna have massive red page?

i recalibrate as ancient (0) 6 months ago and now im at ancient (4)...
but now since gaben introduce token, more player gaining medal and star easily.. some of my crusader and archon friends already ancient withing couple of day playing...
i put hard work to increase medal/star...
and some shitty player have better medal thn me...
