Why are pub players so afraid of counter initiation? in General Discussion

I played couples of thousands matches and pub player seem to be so afraid to fight back after their frontliner got initiated. It's so frustrating when u have an even game and an Earthshaker with blink sitting in the trees and do nothing when their team get jumped. Like they are stacked and your frontlines aren't going down that quickly. Blaming the one who got jumped afterwards and lose the game because all they do is farm.

Because it's instinctive to be put into a defensive mindset after being aggressed. If you are the frontliner, you have to tell the team your intention: "Guys, I'm going to bait, let them jump me and then counter-initiate", otherwise they'll probably act like you said.
It's also a matter of timing and coordination. Tell them who to counter-jump on, tell them at the rough HP level you'll be at before expecting them to react... Are you really going to get that coordination in pubs? Doubt it. What usually happens is that the counter-initiation comes too late, the tank is either dead or too low to soak anymore, they turn on the rest of the team and they kill, it basically became a feed train.

These are the people that chose to play the wrong role, pos 1 or 5 in disguise. Sometimes the one that gets jumped really is to blame though, they'll start pinging your blink and shit when going in would have only caused chain feeding. It's prolly a way to not face the fact that they made a positioning mistake and the chain feed would turn it into "oh you see it was not my fault just an unfortunate fight, at least we tried" by sharing the blame 'cause they're not the only ones dying. Hands down most annoying thing to witness as pos 3

Its just sad cause most of the time, I'm baiting near objectives and being defensive as possible but most of the teammate either leave the objective and doesn't even try to contest when there are 5 mans around. Solo queueing is a pain :(

im a solo player too. miscommunication is always the problem for losing

            nice impact

why would i kill myself for a teammate when I can just farm jungle creeps?

Actually in my recent games players and especially offlaners are afraid of initiating and even avoid picking initiators.

For me as a pos 1 main it's a problem so I just spam ck atm.
