Invoker is a high maintenance hero so just keep playing and playing
you can practice on demo for skill combos
but on team fight where every second things change you need a lot of invoker experience
First you need to muscle memory on every single spell and combo so if you need it you cast it.
Than comes the hard stuff, invo is pretty unique hero as gameplay so watch pro replays a lot and watch what they do and why.
At this point go practice a lot before play ranked.
Bevare it's the hardest hero in dota.
Don't even try if you are not cold minded when you are in fight, you need to keep control on ever CD of your spells so...

So I switched my role from carry to mid about a month or 2 ago. I play mostly snowball heroes like QoP, Storm and Puck. Does anyone have a guide they can link me? or maybe some tips from people who play the hero a lot?
